HOW DO WE GO ABOUT HIRING YOU TO FILM / PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING?
Firstly, thank you so much for your interest in hiring us to capture your wedding. A great step would be to fill out our contact form to let us know what you are looking for. To secure your date, we request a 25% retainer along side your signed contract. Final payment is due three weeks prior to the wedding date.
Please note: Inquiries do not guarantee that a date is held. Availability changes on a daily basis and is subject to change without notice.
CAN WE HIRE YOU FOR JUST A FEW HOURS?
We are happy to provide a customized quote for your wedding if you require less coverage than what our packages provide. With that being said, we have a five hour minimum on Saturdays, and our packages can not be split among multiple days.
DO YOU HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OTHER WEDDING VENDORS?
We love working with local vendors! Feel free to ask us for our recommendations as we have a few favorites.
DO YOU HAVE TRAVEL FEES?
While we generally do not charge for travel within Florida, we do charge for travel outside of the state. We when jump on a call we can go over what that looks like, we’re happy to use those delta points if you’d like ;).
HOW DO YOU CAPTURE OUR VOWS?
We use tiny wireless microphones to capture audio for your film: one on the groom and the other on your officiate during your ceremony.
Please note: our microphones only record audio and do not amplify your ceremony. Please contact your venue or entertainment vendor to inquire about amplification equipment for your ceremony.
WHEN SHOULD WE START FILMING?
The time before the start of your ceremony is when we get our most creative shots, so the more time we have, the better. Ideally, we would love to be with you at least an hour before you get dressed to ensure we capture all of your special moments and memories.
SHOULD WE DO A FIRST LOOK?
First looks are a beautiful and intimate moment to capture on video, however, this is a personal decision. While we say you definitely should, it is ultimately up to you guys to decide!
WHAT ABOUT MUSIC FOR OUR VIDEO?
Our highlight film songs are licensed for Internet use as to comply with copyright infringement laws. For more information on this policy, please feel free to inquire with any questions that you might have. We cover the cost of the license. We spend hours and hours seeking out the right music to fit the pacing and style of your wedding day. Our main source of music comes from Music Bed.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
All films delivered via the Internet are tax-exempt. If we send you a raw footage drive (with the final edit on it), the tax is included in that price.
DO YOU USE A DRONE?
We use a drone as long as time, weather, and the venue permits. Drone shots are used for establishing shots of the venue and are not flown during the ceremony or over people, as this is illegal. There is no extra fee for drone shots, but on the same token, we do not guarantee these shots will be used.
CAN WE SEE MORE THAN A TEASER TRAILER?
We are happy to provide you with sample videos besides teaser trailers. Just ask! We are quite proud of our work. In fact, we encourage you to ask any videographer you are considering to share with you an entire wedding on a raw footage drive, not just a three to seven-minute film.
DO YOU OFFER THE OPTION TO ADD ON RAW FOOTAGE?
Yes! We offer the raw footage drive as an add-on option. On the raw footage drive, you will find every unedited, uncolored clip from the day.
WHO EDITS OUR WEDDING FILMS?
All video is edited in-house; we do not outsource our work. This guarantees our high-quality standards will be used to weave and produce your film.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY FINAL VIDEO?
Our average time for final video delivery is 3-4 months; this depends on the season and how busy we are. Editing is extensive because of the nature of the creative process. We will not send anything out we do not love.
